1. took care of baby with just a hole on face |
|
where mouth should have been.
Mercifully it didn't live long. Mother was dental hygienist and they believe she was exposed to too many dental xrays.
Ironically dental hygienist friend died of rare cancer at age 30..always wondered if she was exposed to something.

2. I think she was born into the right family. They sound loving |
|
and she will need that. I'm sure their love will help make her strong. I can't watch the video. How sad.

Put the woman in the slammer for creating a baby that isn't pure enough to be considered viable in their 'culture of life'. x(

These are parents like me who love their child regardless of her physical flaws and wish others could do the same.
They are brave and loving people and I'm betting little Juliana is the same as her parents. Juliana is not a "poor thing", she's a lovely and fortunate child.

|
They sound incredible to being dealing so well with that... I cannot imagine what that must be like. I hope that Juliana continues to improve, and can teach at least a few people some lessons in judging by appearances.

10. There are quite a few |
|
children like this, not to this degree perhaps, but they are there. Mostly they can be found in Neurological Institutes, that is where I worked with them. Many never have a family, or nothing like this one. They have my respect. Rather than sad this is a truly inspiring story. It has to be terrifically difficult for all of them but the love is so apparent that you have to feel good inside, at least I do.

I'm glad she has a family that loves her so much---she'll need that support to help insure against many of life's indignities.

That poor little girl. Just think of the huge advancements in plastic surgery over the past 15 years so imagine what they can do for that poor little girl over the next 15.

He died (car accident) when I was a baby so I never knew him. But the family has always been accutely aware of Treacher Collins - and I NEVER knew it could be so bad.

Sorry, but I am. I dont think I could have a child like that, honestly. I've been thinking that makes me a "bad" person but I dont think so. It just makes me, well, human, I guess.
I wish the family well and I hope medical advnces can help this little girl.
