I just got a $25 credit to my power bill |

I experienced a power outage during the hurricane problems on the east coast, only I reside in California. For some unknown reason, four houses in my neighborhood had a nine hour outage and I received a nice letter from Pacific Gas and Electric and a little good news in the process.
Because we did not meet the agreed-to service restoration window, a credit in the amount of $25.00 will be placed on your account within two months.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and will continually strive to provide the best service possible. Our service guarantee program reinforses that commitment.
How cool it that? This is nice, albeit expensive, public relations. Has anyone else ever heard of this, or received such a windfall?
