3. Bon Jovi Golf
I shit you not, I drove one.

Just like Ford has the eddie Bauer explorere, in Germany, they had the Bon Jovi Golf. The emblem on the stick shift was exactly like the band's, and teh sides of the car said 'Bon Jovi.'

Man did I score some ass with that car.

4. How about the 1927-1937 Studebaker Dictator?
Edited on Thu Dec-16-04 02:20 AM by norml
1937 was the last year for the Dictator nameplate. With Hitler and Mussolini gathering power in Europe, 'Dictator' became politically incorrect and so the name was dropped. 1937 was however the first year Studebaker saw the influence of master stylist Raymond Loewy, who did a beautiful facelift of the existing 1936 models. With the Great Depression still somewhat at hand, pricing for the Dictator was quite low this year.

Who wants to drive a Probe? Sounds all wrong.

15. That was my first car!
Edited on Thu Dec-16-04 02:15 AM by amandae
I only had it for a very short period of time before the transmission quit on me and my father decided it wasn't worth fixing (the car was a 1980 I believe and it was 1993!). After that they let me use their more reliable car to get to school (I was in high school) and work in.

:hi:

On edit: My car did NOT look like that!! LOL ... it was white, rusted and I think it had four doors. I think it also only had AM radio! LOL!

looks like Muscle Car guys loved it. I think my first car was a 1968 Chrystler Newport, I got it in the 70's when I was in High School. It was ummm almost 85 feet long and made out of depleted uranium I think, couldn't dent it.

What a dumb name for a car!

The in-laws had one as a rental while visitng a few years back and it was awful. It had no acceleration to speak of and the interior was the worst I've encountered since the yugo.

ETA: Oh, and the Ford Granada. We always called my dad's the granade. We were proved right when the POS spontaneously combusted.
