It was OK. I never watch network TV, so I was most annoyed at the commercial breaks.

4. Here at work
it was literally the talk around the coffee machine. And everyone assumed I had been watching it because Merry" is in it (Yes, everyone knows I am the sci-fi/fantasy freak around here...)

5. Yeah, what's the deal with commercials?
There'd be a break every two minutes. That sucked ass.

7. What is with the Polar Bear?
And the supernatural stuff? I LOVE the show. Started watching somewhere in the middle, so I had missed the first episodes. Even better. It's been a long time since I've hated for a show to be over after an hour.

10. Thats the mystery, of course
What ate the pilot? How do 42 people survive a drop onto a tropical island from 40,000 feet in a disintegrating aircraft? Why did the pilots radio go out? What made the plane split in two? Why is such a large island deserted? How did a paralyzed man regain his legs?

This show is great at generating questions (there are many more, but I don't know how much you've seen and don't want to spoil anything), but as of yet we have no substantial answers. Personally, I think it's one of the best shows to come out in quite some time...instead of some mindless reality drivel, we have a show that forced the viewer to THINK, to puzzle things out, and to develop their OWN theories about what's going on. That is GOOD television, and is a rare thing to see nowadays.

9. On the one hand
it was nice to see Kate's underwear unmatched (like the vast majority of women I know) but that was one gratuitous scene.

None of the male actors are my type, though, so I guess I'm stuck appreciating the storyline :-)

13. they're all so different, one of them must catch your eye
keep watching, they go into more detail about their lives, and maybe one will jump out at you - otherwise, the storyline is pretty good too. i do have to agree about the commercials though

14. I'll let you know :-)
But the mopst of the guys have that square-jawed, beady-eyed look; not my type... The father is cute, though, and I like his acting. And I've always liked the guy playing Locke - he had a great turn in Star Trek Next Gen.
