The problem with all my symptoms lies in a protruded disc. Been there between 1 month and a year or so.
Not sure why that would have caused me to lose consciousness the other day or why I'd still have these headaches, but the voicemail said he'd tell me more on the followup...

I had a ruptured disc years ago, which was very painful and seriously affected walking, with twinges and such up and down my legs. Had surgery, it was very succesful.
I've never heard of fainting from one, but I'm certainly not a doctor, so I know nothing in this area. I'm just gonna make a wild guess, though, and assume your disc problem is in the neck area? Mine was lower back.
I'm glad to hear it's not something more scary.

3. got one in my lower back; and two deteriorated discs in my |

neck. I get severe neck pain if I do anything out of the ordinary. Massage therapy really helps me. And the PT gave me some exercises that help and oh yeah, Advil. Good luck.

4. I Had Two Adjacent Protruded Discs |
|
in my lumbar region. I had a procedure done called a laminectomy, where only the protruding sections were removed. It hurt like a bitch for a few weeks, but afterwards the pain I had endured for years was gone completely. I've also heard stories from people for whom this procedure didn't work...actually made the pain worse. Speaking only for myself, I'm very glad I had it done; pain sucks!
