something stupid happened--I was getting ready to leave for work

and couldn't find my glasses.

So I called in of course, but said I threw my back out. <gulp> I lied, but I have actually thrown my back out from time to time, and telling them I can't come in because I can't fine my glasses sounded really lame.:eyes:

I have yet to lose those, since I have to take them out in the same place every night. But backup glasses aren't a bad plan, either, if you can afford it. Good luck with finding them!

Literally. I didn't do that this time, but I have before. Called and cancelled a doctor appointment. Later, I did in fact find them.
