12. Yep! YAHOO!
I'm still pissed off at how he fucked up Nightcrawler's background.

Did you read my post about Morrison/Quietly doing a year's worth of Superman in the SF group? I can't wait! I think it's the first time I've been excited about Superman comics in my life.

14. Yeah, heard about it

I'm only familiar w/ his stuff in New X-Men (and liked what I saw) and Arkham Asylum so I don't know what to expect, but Quitely's a more-than-competent artist, so this could yield some great results. Also heard Jim Lee's going to be shifted over to Batman & Robin, on which he will be working w/ Jeff Loeb :o

In any case, now that Austen's going to have some time on his hands, maybe we can lobby for a permanent Austen/Liefeld collaboration and together they can create the world's greatest book EVER!!!!

I wonder how many issues would come out in a year's time? Half an issue?

5. Did you ever read the Dark Knight Returns. Batman bitched the shit out of
Superman and could have totally put him out of commission if circumstances allowed.

Batman ALWAYS outsmarts his opponent, and it doesn't take much to outsmart Superman anyway

8. That book was indescribably good
I'm not sure how I feel about Dark Knight Strikes Again (I don't think it's as God-awful as everyone claims it is, and I happen to like the artwork too) but Dark Knight Returns is worth every bit of hype/esteem/praise it has garnered over the years

and he's fucking nuts so he makes a more interesting character. However, Superman just has something about him that appeals to maybe. The fact that his only purpose for helping people is because he can.

13. In an impromptu brawl...
Superman.

In a fight where Batman has even ten minutes to plan, he wins it.

16. Have to go with Batman..
... but only the comics. The movies were all ridiculous and totally failed to capture the spirit of Batman.
