3. I caught part of one show

and it was goofy-funny. I liked it. One of the female cops had attempted suicide...only she hadn't. The other cops had to keep going by her place on a "suicide watch". It's different...like it.

4. I've missed a few episodes,

but watch it now. It's bust-a-gut funny. I didn't like "The State" or "Viva Variety" nearly as much as this one. I think these guys finally struck gold. Fingers crossed for a long run.

I keep running into it by accident;
I think it must be on before Jon Stewart.
And agreed; it's painfully funny.

I sure wonder how much is scripted and how
much is ad lib. The dialogue's hilarious.
And the cast is great.

9. There was a good one

Where the "chief" (not sure of his role exactly) had 2 tickets to an execution so he came up with a scavenger hunt in which the winner could claim them. Too funny.

Had to laugh at another part where they were conducting a surveilance of a drug dealer waiting for a pick up in a motel room but got sidetracked by the guy next door. One of the partners thought he was Leonard Nimoy but the other didn't. Got into an arguement so tried to settle it by visiting the guy. Missed the whole drug deal. Too funny! :-)
