Kentuck Festival near Tuscaloosa in October. Anyone been? What's it like??

1. I've never been to it, even though I live in Tuscaloosa

But Iris Dement played there a few years ago. I really wanted to go see her, but something or another came up and didn't quite make it.

4. Which is the nicest hotel in a reasonable price range in Tuscaloosa?

I want to come and bring my family, and saw that there is a Country Inn and Suites, Comfort Inn, and many other hotels.

Is there one you can recommend to me?

5. I'm not much help

I don't know much about the hotels either, since I live here. I just checked, and Alabama plays football away that week. If it was a home game, you could just about forget getting a room.
