Do you ever wish the Rapture was real?
And would take away ALL Republicans?

(And yes, I know it is a fairy tale like the rest of their religion.)

1. LOL
Yes, I do. They can go to their heaven (which always sounded like a nightmare to me) and we can stay here without them, which will be heaven enough.

2. You mean that the rest of us would die a miserable death?
I never even considered it.

since none of it is true, anyway.

5. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't take the atheist or agnostic Republicans.
Or the otherwise non-Christian Republicans.

I'm pretty sure there are more than five. ;)

8. yeah
Except I would add control freaks, narcissists, bullies, corrupt ceos and'leaders' torturers, sociopaths, cult leaders, abusive people to the republicans and fundees of all types ,and they would not be in "heaven".
And they say the meek inhereit the Earth,I guess the"meek" never realized it would be a barren, polluted, abused ,desolate dead planet.

11. I hate to be the one to tell you this but
Edited on Fri Dec-17-04 09:26 AM by Wilber_Stool
the Rapture has already happened. I think it coincided with the release of Sgt. Pepper. It turns out there were no Christians worthy of the ascension, so God just said" "Ta hell with all of 'em."
Just thought you"d like to know.

12. I'm starting to think that
the rapture has already occurred, only a lot of the "Christians" who thought that they were "saved" were "left behind" with the rest of us.

13. If the Rapture occured
I think that there would be more Democrats that were raptured and that many repukes would definetly be left behind. I read the entire Left Behind series out of curiosity and found the last chapter, last book contradicted it's writers politics, I am very happy to report this reader interpeted the "goats" on the left side were repukes and the "sheep" on God's right side were the Dems, according to a pasage from Matthew, sorry I don't know exact passage, but it has to do with "what you do for the least of my brethen you do for me", "what you DO NOT do for the least of my brethren you DO NOT do for me". Does not sound like trickle down economics to me.

14. Only If They Would Go NOW...
... but then it would lead to a NEW generation of new mellininum Christians who believed too-late... but think that there will be a THIRD coming.

But the thought of a world MINUS all these lunatic zealot bigoted Christians does have a certain appeal to me.
