When all else fails, do something for a stranger, donate to a cause, be there to listen to someone who previously was a stranger.
Of course my pets also cheer me up.

DVD's because I watch Julian Mcmahon on my Nip/Tuck or Profiler DVD's or on Charmed video tapes. He cheers me up for some reason. He's handsome, talented, funny, and he usually has that huge devil may care grin on his face. Seeing it just makes me feel better. Other DVDs I sometimes watch to cheer me up are Hercules The Legendary Journeys and also Lord of the Rings.
I also like to listen to music, sing, read, or spend time either just sitting or playing with my dog. She always makes me laugh again too.

I have been spiraling into depression since I got really sick digestively this summer. I still have problems. I'd go to work and emotionally feel like crap all day. Then a few weeks ago, it occurred to me that perhaps malnutrition might be part of my problem. With my illness, I am averaging less than half of what I used to eat and some days I barely eat. I bought a complete vitamin and started taking them everyday. Now I don't feel as bad emotionally all the time.

variation on your choices. dance naked in a front of a mirror on a island vacation with friends. :silly:
sometimes when i get depressed, the blues, in a funk, i go with it. wallow in it for a bit (note:if depresses state it is not clinical in nature). in the depths of our melancholy/depression, clarity and insight can be found.

47. Football, beer, pizza, and cigarettes |
|
All at once.
Playstation football during the breaks is optional.
Either that or sex.
Or all of the above!
Beer and pizza during the game, hot sex during halftime, a cigarette afterwards, and being able to play Madden football with your wife/girlfriend after the game is over.
Oops, that kind spilled over from "cure for depression" to "fantasy best day EVER". :toast: :bounce:
