That's very funny.
The odd thing is that of a 90-page file, eleven pages were completely redacted. Did the FBI think Orwell was a threat, even though he was at the time of the publication of _1984_ near death? Guess I'll have to read more....

He died the same day Kennedy was shot. His obit was not even run in the NY Times until 11/25, they just overlooked it.
Yeah, that first letter is a trip. Especially in light of the shit now. Some scary quotes in there, huh?
