I had a moment I want to do over today
Some idiot freeper pulled along side my car and gave me 3 fingers for W and I wished I had given him my middle one. Instead, I looked at him strange forgetting that I have my DU sticker and Kerry sticker on my car. As he turned right, I noticed his freeper bumper stickers and realized what he was doing. Duh! Some people can be so rude and I hate that I can't think fast!

1. No, your reaction was good, I think.
I'm sure it frustrated him, since he may have taken it that you didn't understand the W salute/IQ count, and his "in your face" moment was ruined. Poor freeper.

2. This is very symbolic
> As he turned right, I noticed his freeper bumper stickers

That sums it up.

When someone turns Right, you'll notice their freeper bumper stickers.

6. We're #3!
We're #3! Leave it to a freeper to be proud of coming in third.

7. Karma's a bitch
As I was heading home from a doctor's appointment on Tuesday, a fellow in a truck raced up beside me, mouthed a few choice words, flipped me off and then roared ahead before pulling right in front of me (obviously to show me his neocon/religious bumper assortment). To further make the point, the guy slows down to 10 miles below the current speed limit.

I was having an extremely shitty day and didn't feel like doing anything about it. Next thing I know, another car comes up beside me with a guy waving, honking and smiling. As he passed, I see his lovely assortment of liberal stickers. He pulled in front of the other guy and slowed down even more.

Eventually the neocon just gunned it (that probably dropped him to about .5 miles per gallon) and took off. I gave the other driver a thumbs up when he was turning off -- I would have really liked to give him a hug.

Anyway, the moral of the story is that what goes around, comes around -- and karma's a bitch. :)

8. I think it is great that you looked at him strangely. It probably bothered
him more than if you had given him the finger. If you don't give their little behaviors any credence it irritates them. Good for you! :hi:

9. You did right
if you get angry with someone, you become like them to a degree. You don't want that. It's something I have trouble remembering.

11. No, much better the way you did it
Flipping them off just reinforces all their weird beliefs about liberals. I always smile sunnily and wave at them - it never fails to completely piss them off but they can't really complain about it. How's that going to sound?

"Some damn Liberal with a 'somewhere in Texas' sticker smiled and waved at me today."

Wow, threatening......
