1. I know a ton of Jennifers
and see that name was number one for over 10 years! Must've been that song by the same name.

2. Aww... I feel so alone...
My name isn't even in the top 1000 for my decade (1960s). :-)

4. I picked my kids' names
because I like the older popular names from the turn of the century.

They are super common names, but strong hardy names as well. I wanted names that would sound good even when they are older. Somewhow, a 90 year old Candy, seems strange...(no offense to the Candy's of the world!! I picked the name because I really do like it. Just that, an elderly Bambi or Candy..I dunno..)

5. I was surprised to see how common my name used to be.

6. Interesting, to watch the shifts
in male names from the Brians, Roberts and Davids of my birth era (later 50's early 60's) to things like Joshua, Brandon, Tyler, and (!) Zachary. It seems like where I live, every little boy is named Dylan, Hunter, or Hayden, and I'm kind of wishing for a swing back to conventionality.
