8. A former co-worker of mine

Is a big Axe Murder fan as well as a hockey fan. How are these related? Well, he went to a hockey game where our city's team was playing our hated rivals, and the rivals' coach looks a lot like Colonel Sanders. When they introduced the coaches before the game, my friend yelled out, "Oh, I hate tha colonel with his wee beady eyes!" to a nearly silent coliseum. All focus was put on him, and even the rival coach turned and looked his way, doing a little Reagan-esque head bobble of not getting it.

Wish I had been there.
