No, you may NOT try cutting "just a little piece" of your hair with the
pinking shears! I love my six year old.

7. Each and everyone of my kids has cut their own hair at one point.
My son nearly balded himself in front, my oldest has done it so many times(I lose count) my youngest cut her beautiful red hair...so she could look like her "big" brother!

20. That same oldest child was just partially evicerated by one of our cats!
She has a series of scratches that are all oozing a bit of blood (she'd just gotten out of the shower after b-ball practice)...with the cold temps the kitties amuse themselves by chjasing and fighting each other...when they're not trying to "bring down the tree".

15. Hell, I still cut my own hair
and I'm 45. I still occasionally butcher it too. However, the advantage of having hip-length hair is that it's tolerant of those kinds of errors. Just cut a little more off to even it up.

30. I was on the front lawn (about five)
My mom was doing garen work and I was just playing with the shears. My parents liked to let us leanr life's lesson by ourselves. Suddenly the handle go loose and shhhhhhpppp the tip of my finger was cut off. My mom ran me to the washroom....my sister was using it...so we went to the otehr one...there was blood everywhere. Then she ran water on it for a bit to clean it. And then let it be. Packed it with gauze and taped it up.

I wen tot the doctor later.

That was my first real experience in learning that I could bleed.
