A "DUMBASS" moment that will make you laugh.

I had a "DUMBASS!" moment earlier today. This will either make your jaw drop or make you laugh.

For the entire year, I've been bitching about my college's cable lineup. We just got Cartoon Network (good because I love Adult Swim) Faux News (unfortunately), CNBC, and VH1 at the beginning of the year. However, there's a lot I didn't have at school that I had at home, like Bravo, the Food Network, Court TV, and the Travel Channel.

So today I'm in my dorm surfing channels, and I get up into about the 80s. I figure they're just static, much like the other high-numbered channels.

Guess what I found?

Bravo: Channel 83
Travel Channel: Channel 84
MSNBC: Channel 86
Food Network: Channel 87
Court TV: Channel 88

Needless to say, I felt rather stupid. Go ahead, laugh.

hehe...just kidding. Buthow do you know you always had those channels. Maybe they realized you didn't and snuck them in there recently?

I've mentioned this before in the MN forums, but I've been a visitor to DU for over a year now, but never joined because I assumed that I didn't have a paid e-mail account. I then discovered recently that I've always had a paid account through my ISP. We've had this account for over 4 years and neither me, or my boyfriend, even knew it existed!

I wish I had Bravo, and I pay $100 a month to Comcast cable.
