I love that band and they are a lot of fun live. I have a new double CD that has them playing live from back in the early 80's. It includes some songs that aren't on their other CDs. It's RAW Violent Femmes.

I am jealous, wish they would come around here soon.

10. I have every Femmes song ever recorded. It was a goal for me.

They don't tour a lot, but when they do, they totally rock. They have sooo much fun on stage! It's a blast for audience. I was first row, and Gordon even WINKED at me! :loveya:

22. And Victor De Lorenzo is back and in full force! All 3 are SUCH

great musicians and showmen! Victor, as always did a long solo during Black Girls. When I saw them in Chicago a few years back, they had 3 drummers during that solo and it went on for like a year. So very cool!

Brian's a madman on the acoustic bass! Did you know: The Femmes do not use a set list. Instead Brian calls the songs on stage, adding much spontaneity to the proceedings.

13. I loved that first album when I was in high school

I listened to it constantly and wore it out. I just bought the CD a few months ago and am listening to it constantly again.

Edited to change subject from college to high school. I mistakenly aged myself by about five years there. :crazy:
