Looks like you are linking to a directory on your PCs hard drive. That's not accessible to other people on the internet.

What you need is to find a service online that will host your pictures online for you. There are a number of these services. I've heard of http://www.photobucket.com/ but can't vouche for their quality?

It took me a long time to figure it out too. This how I do it. I went to http://www.photobucket.com and set up a free account for myself. Then I use photobucket to upload the pic to their site. I reduce the pic size by 75 oercent. Under your pic on photobucket it has the URL. You can copy and paste the URL into your post and it will show up as a pic. Like this:



What I pasted here was the URL from photobucket. It looked like this except I just now put XXX on the end instead of jpg and XXXX instead of http.

XXXX://img.photobucket.com/albums/v131/bearfan454/daisy1.XXX

Are you sure you are using the correct address. You should point to the third option available under your pic at Photobucket.

I just copy the first URL under my pic on photobucket and it works.

5. Try Draknet.

There are some free photo hosting solutions out there, but they're hard to find.

I'd suggest a company called Draknet. Plans start at $5 per month.

6. Step by step instructions

1) Go to www.photobucket.com . Open free account.
2) Follow easy instructions at the site to upload photos to your free account.
3) View your account's pics. Below the pics are a set of url addressess and other HTML tags.
4) To post a pic here just copy and paste the third url under your pic and paste in your message.

Easy as pie.

12. Just right-click on any image on the internet, whether it's

from photobucket or anything else.

When the menu pops up, go down to "Properties" and click on that.

Then a properties window will appear and you'll see in it a place that says "Address (URL)". Just highlight that address, and then right click on it and click on "Copy".

Then close the properties window. Now you're all set to paste the URL for your image anywhere you want.
