Ever wash down pills with alcohol?

And I only took pills for a brief period of time. As soon as I realized that I was becoming addicted, I quit, and haven't done any pills since. I'd always been negative on pills, and excessive drinking, so it's funny that I let it creep up on me. Whenever some celeb is engaging in bizarre behavior, it's usually because of pills washed down with booze. Now I'm back to taking no medications, just smoking herb, and drinking very moderate amounts of alcohol. Pill heads washing down their pills with booze are more common than most people realize. Rush, if you're out there, and want to talk about how much fun pills can be, especially if washed down with adult beverages, don't mind me. I'm no hypocrite!

One time my friends family was out of town for a weekend and I was staying with her, so we were partying just the two of us. I had 4 smirnoff ice's then we were drinking screw drivers well for some insane reason she took one of her prescription vicodin, to get more of a buzz, and then I took one. I was so fucked up, it was unbelievable, I have no idea how long I was buzzed but after awhile I was in the bathroom puking my guts out, and that went on all night! oh god... I will never, EVER take a vicodin again and still to this day I can't stand orange juice.

9. You drank too much alcohol with your pill.

Had you drank less, you would've felt better. Pills, and booze together have a very synergistic effect, far out of proportion to what either would have alone. Also, alcohol, orange juice, and codeine are all very irritating to the stomach. A less acidic drink would've been better for that purpose.

I remember before we even started drinking we were having dinner and watching 'Ever After' I started bawling when the dad died, made me think of when my dad died. I think thats what started us on our little binge..... what a night!

But I take it when not drinking as well, I have a prescription. Sometimes my friends will ask me for one if they're going to be drinking all day, like if they're at the lake or tail-gating or something, to give them a little pick me up in the evening.

Vodka with Tylenol PM, Smirnoff Ice with my prescriptions drugs (which have a warning label on them about alcohol). I know I shouldn't do it, but I still do.

which is one of my prescription drugs. I'm doing better at not doing it but sometimes get weak. I love the sleep I get that way.

Actually . not together. If I feel a headache coming on. and know I will be having a social drink, I'll take a fiorinal and coffee. Then, maybe half an hour later I'll have a drink. Fiorinal is also a cure for hangovers. One fiorinal and hangover is gone! If I know I have overindulged , I take a fiorinal and a large glass of water before going to bed! I wake up feeling great. But I want to point out this is very rare. I don't either usually drink with a headache or overindulge , but when I do....

No big deal. Although I say that having never been hooked to either pills or alcohol. If I am taking a painkiller (and that's rare, can't remember the last time) alcohol with it just gives it some extra ooomph. But I have to REALLY be in pain to do that!

24. The only time I ever got into drinking very much was with the pills.

Otherwise I could not care much less about alcohol. I've never had that enthusiasm for alcohol alone that I had for the pills with alcohol. As to if I could go back to just using pills occasionally, I don't know. I just haven't gone out looking for any since 1999. If some came my way I'd probably do them. I'd probably suck them down the same way I do pot, if I've been out of pot for a while. I've never felt that way about alcohol.
