3. I'm looking forward to meeting them, actually
They all seem like really nice people, and best of all, they're all liberals with cool taste in music and his mom's a great cook. How bad can it be? I have to travel to Houston, though, which is a long trip.

7. Strange
I met my brother and sister-in-law, and they felt very uncomfortable. They own a bar, and I don't drink. For years, they thought I was a bit of a square until I came to the bar in honor of their silver wedding anneversary. This really touched them, and we've gotten along well since then. (My husband's parents are both deceased, and his brother is his only family).
