Do any of you make homemade ice cream?

If so, what do you use?

I'm working on a simple vanilla recipe:

2 cups skim milk
1/3 cup sugar
1 tblsp vanilla extract
3 tblsp chocolate malted milk mix


1. Whip the milk for 20 minutes. Blend in the ingredients and whip for 10 more.

2. When thick, put in freezer for 1 hour.

3. Whip contents again for 30 minutes.

4. Freezer for an hour.

5. Whip again.

6. Store overnight and see what happens. If it doesn't turn into a monster with green tentacles, then everything will be okay.

2. Piffle! December is the best month!

Add in some whipped cream, chopped nuts, and your SO so you don't go nuts, and I'd think all would be well. :D
