has a protein drink that is absolutely delicious - I've tried them all and they end up sitting in the frig or pantry until I throw them out - most of them taste like flavored cardboard - this one is like a vanilla milkshake - it also comes in chocolate - great price too! http://www.thevitaminshoppe.com/browse/sku_detail.jhtml?SkuID=231637&BreadCrumbType=SearchResult

serving size. One half cup is pretty small, especially if larger portions are what got you (me) to the needing-to-diet stage. But still, it's better than 28 carbs per 1/2 cup. Enjoy.

This isn't quite as bad as low-fat or sugar free ice cream, but it's close. IMO, ice cream is meant to be enjoyed and savored, not just tolerated. It's a special treat, to be taken in moderation.
I've never understood why Americans can't just cut down on serving sizes. Europe learned how to do that long ago.
I mean no offense, and if you enjoy substandard "ice cream", by all means eat it!

7. I long ago learned to eat |

substandard a lot of the time. If you look at it in another way -You may like peas more than you like corn, but you still eat corn. You may love steak but still eat hamburger. I look at low-cal or low-carb foods the same way. Some of them may not be the best tasting food you ever ate, but most of the food you eat is not the best tasting either.
Anyway, I defy anyone to say Tofutti Cuties are not fabulous.

6. Great, I'm so glad they use Splenda as the sweetener. |
|
I've been using Splenda since it was available only on the internet.

8. Breyers...Low Carb.... |

Where can I get it? Where can I get it? :wow: I actually make my own ice cream since I've been doing Atkins with Splenda and cream, but it's a pain and doesn't freeze very well (I have to defrost it to eat it).

Under "nutrition facts", then under the description is "where can I buy it" click that. I am on Atkins too. Also, go to local grocery store b/c there's new chocolate that's low carb from Russells that is good too.

is a beautiful thing. There is a chocolate shoppe right next to our movie theatre at the mall. I go in there and get a few pieces of s-f chocolate to eat during the movie. They're the Russell Stover type candies.
Sugar alcohols are fine treat if you are watching your carb intake. And the chocolate is still heavenly.
