I think they are cool. I am missing the rotating colored spot-light that you aim at it. Found them on Ebay but never won the auction.
It was my Aunt's and has sentimental value to me. I see them in Antique Stores selling for quite a bit.
Don't know if I would bother going to a museum to see them though.

the country...RFK, MLK......and then my father 2 days after Christmas. He bought the stupid thing and all my brother and I could do was wait until it turned green. We couldn't put tinsel up on it or other things since no one would notice. On a lighter note we all kidded him about it. I remember him having fun with it as relative came over to see it. Definitely it was shock an aluminum tree.
