Someone left the cake out in the rain.
Someone left the cake out in the rain
I don't think that I can take it
'Cause it took so long to bake it
And I'll never have that recipe again
Oh, no!

2. Now try playing it blind drunk
Attempted it at a party one time. Was so blasted I couldn't find the keyboard.

People said it sounded better than when I played it sober.

It was more of an insult to my musicianship than a slur on the piece.

5. I Love That Song
It's so over the top.

And I like the "They Might be Giants" version:
Well the rain falls down without my help I'm afraid
And my lawn gets wet though I've withheld my consent
When this grey world crumbles like a cake
I'll be hanging from the hope
That I'll never see that recipe again...

7. That's a funny song
My dad sang and played a variety of instruments when I was growing up. When he played paina and sang that one, I asked "Is that a real song? It's not a parady or something?"
