For you young'uns, long ago the Dewar's whiskey company had an inexplicable hit with a very, very pretentiously unpretentious (nice work if you can get it, no?) print ad campaign featuring very rich and successful people sitting around being decadent and answering questions about as challenging as those a Playboy Playmate faces. In these latter days, the Dewar's profile apparently has entered the English language as a synonym for thumbnail sketch, and appears to be very popular with our university professors. (Hmmmmmm.)
