How do I make an image file I have appear in a yahoo email I am sending?
I dont want them to click, want it to just be there.
Used to know how. Thanks.

3. puter. I could get it off net but I dont have a personal image hosting
site setup and I'd prefer not to suck from someone else.

6. You could upload to a site like Photobucket
or just attach the image file to your mail.

4. kick... and I would like to know also.
... as a matter of fact I just wrote to Yahoo and asked them how to do this (I have a feeling we can't). they said they would email me a response within 24 hours. If they do I will come back here and let you know their response.

7. Yahoo e-mail picture mystery continued....
Henslee this is the exact reply I received:

We would like to inform you that the option to embed avatars of Yahoo! Messenger in the e-mail is not available. However, if you wish to embed any other image or picture, you may follow the steps given below:

To insert or copying picture from web page to Yahoo! Mail, while
composing mail, follow the steps given below:

1. Visit http://sbc.yahoo.com.
2. Enter your complete SBC Internet Services e-mail address and
password.
3. Click on the Sign In button.
4. Go to your mailbox and click on the Compose button.
5. Click on the Colors and Graphics link.
6. Select the picture from the web page, which you want, to copy and
paste.
7. Right click and click on the Copy option.
8. Right click on the text box of the compose window.
9. Click on the Paste option.

Additionally, follow the steps to insert or copy picture from file to
Yahoo! Mail, while composing mail:

1. Visit http://sbc.yahoo.com.

12. Right click on the text box of the compose window.
13. Click on the Paste option.

8. at first glance, does not look like its available with firefox.Just IE 5.5
Hmmm, will check out if i have 5.5.
