7. Franken's a better writer. |
|
I like Moore's movies better than his books.
Franken for books, Moore for visual media. I'll call this one a draw.

9. Moore actually does things for people |
|
Such as the immigrant hotel employees on his TV show (forget which one) or the kids in Bowling for Columbine whom he takes to KMart (and gets them to stop selling bullets) for example.
It's nice to see a progressive actually accomplish something instead of just sitting around talking about it. These acts, of course, are usually ignored or forgotten by the factions of the Democrats who want to distance themselves from Michael Moore. (And while I'm thinking of it (not to get too off topic), why do we do this? Large groups of Democrats seem to be scared by a progressive who actually accomplishes something. Look at Dean. Look at Moore.)

11. The thing about Franken is that if he says something, you can count |
|
on it and repeat it to others. He does heavy research.
Moore has this tendency to get bogged down in details, and his credibility is shakey.

13. moore hands down. I saw AL Franken at a book signing and |
|
had a brief chat with him while he signed my book even. He seems like a nice down to earth guy but he stated in his talk, prior to the book signing, that his views were more aligned with the DLC , therefore I choose Michael Moore...

15. I don't even think Franken is all that funny.... |
|
His radio show doesn't interest me at all but I do appreciate his efforts for the cause.
