3. If Your Using Notepad Do The Following.
Go to www.google.com, type in your word or series of words and hit enter. Any misspelled words will be flagged and suggestions given. Or you could use the DU spell-checker.

11. I Get It Now.
DU spell checker doesn't work. What happens when you click "Check Spelling"? You may also want to check out the DU Computer Help & Support group

4. Okay. I don't know if XP Notepad has a spell checker or not. In earlier
versions, it doesn't. Look up at the menus to see. If not, you may have to copy and paste your words into Word and do a spell check that way. Let me know if you don't know how to run spell check through Word and I will tell you how.

5. Notepad doesn't offer spellcheck.
You need to use a word processing program to have spellcheck. Notepad is just an editing utility.

7. You can use the spell check on the bottom of the posting
but I don't know how to spell check except in word and wp, where you can do it under edit, or on the toolbar

10. Notepad doesn't have a spell checker...
and I'm guessing you don't want to buy Office just to spellcheck.

But there are plenty of free word processors like CryptEdit and AbiWord that do do without going to the whole office routine like Open Office or Easy Office.

One simple spell checker I use is WordWeb at:
http://wordweb.info/

get the free version

All Purpose Spell Checker is great for whole pages. Palware seems to be out of business, or isn't supporting the free version, but google it for sites that have it for download.
