Honest question: Has Porn changed since the 70s?

I don't recall "spitting" and "giddie up gal" ass slapping being standard fare in the days of my youth.

Not that I consume much porn, but the bits I have seen in the 2000s seem nastier and sicker than the 70s.

Come to think of it, I never actually saw any porn flicks in the 70s. But, was it nasty and sick then too or was it generally more tame?

80`s porn was much better and stopped watching porn in the early 90`s cause i didn`t care for the players and the "story lines".

Now it's crass and mechanical. The performers used to portray people having sex. Now they are merely sex workers going through the motions on screen Even with the more plentiful body hair and less tight bods, I prefer the 70s stuff.

I especially hate the "amateur" stuff and the "girls gone wild" type crap.

13. You forgot the main difference.......it was shown in a theater then....

video changed the entire industry it brought it into the home. The advent of cable tv also allowed the individual to get home viewing. I don't think its any nastier then it was then, remember it was pretty much anything goes....safe sex was a minsnomer then too. It was probably sicker, "alice behind the green door" was a benchmark film from the period, along with "deep throat".
