Help RE: Firefox? If I downloaded an extension like dictionary search, |
|
or bug me not, Where is it once I download it ? Sure I see it listed in exentensions under tools, options -- there's a red book logo and the bugmenot log, but thats it.
I recommend Flashblock -- great extension that disables flash animations unless you click on them.
Also, how do make your tabbed browsing bar bigger? Mine is already full of links and I have already shortened their titles.
Sure I can go to Firefox but this place is better.
Thanks.

extennsions? one being the ending of a file name (gif., pdf. etc.) and one the add on features of Firefox?
My real question is how do I open/use a Firefox add on feature that I just downloaded? Like Dict. I am stumped at the moment.
It says the "D" is my acess key for dictionary, how do I use that? Tried to press control or alt, nothing.

right clickin on a word and seeing if there are dictionary search options that open in the menu after right clicking.
i was just reading over the description of dictionary search.
DictionarySearch provides a very easy way to lookup or translate a word in a webpage or an email in a user defineable online dictionary. Simply select the word of which you want to know the meaning. Then right click and select "Dictionary Search for ...". A new browser tab or window will open with the meaning or translation of the word you selected.

it requires you to re-start your browser.
I'd have to google to see where extensions are downloaded to. I used to know but I've forgotten.
:o
edited to add: I haven't found a way to make the link bar larger - I have little arrows off the right end of mine.
