Four Inches of SNOW This Morning
Edited on Wed Dec-22-04 08:49 AM by CO Liberal
It started snowing around 9:00 last night, when I went out to the Safeway to get a few things. When I got up this morning, there was four inches of snow on the ground.

Here's a picture I took of my truck about 15 minutes ago:

It's loose, powdery snow - the stuff they really like up at the ski resorts. My company's on a 2-hour snow delay, so I don't have to be there until 10:00. I'll probably give them about another hour to clear the roads, and then start out.

3. NJ Snow was Wet and Heavy
This is light and powdery. And Colorado is filled with people from California who don't have much experience driving in snow. It makes my 45-mile commute that much more interesting.....

4. I'm Not Worried
The three accidents I've had in the past four years all happened on clear, sunny days.

5. I'll bet wreckers follow you around.
Haven't asked in a while, hows the back?
We had 2 inch's last night, wind blowing about 25mph. Probably going to have to break ice in the stock tanks before tomorrow. It's going to get in the low teens by the end of today.

7. I'm Hanging In There, Back-Wise
I haven't had an epidural injection on my lower back since July, because there was a paynemt dispute between my doctor and the insurance companies. Now that the dispute has been resolved, I'm waiting to get my next injection - because of scheduling conflicts at the surgical center, that won't be until January 25th.

Until then, I'm doing the best I can. And cold, snowy days don't help much....

8. Thanks
It was still dark when I took that photo, so I didn't really see it until I downloaded the pictures onto my PC.

9. 2 hour snow delay?
So they allow you to be late if there's a lot of snow?

16. Yes
We're all expected to be in the office by 8:00 each day. If they announce a 2-hour delay, we have until 10:00 to get there.

Edited on Wed Dec-22-04 02:44 PM by ChavezSpeakstheTruth
Doesn't seem like the best thing to do. You might want to crop that bad boy.

Edit - Hey Beast Man - you read my mind!
