Another fun moment with my ABB shirt |
|
Today at Target I was at the checkout with my copy of "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" DVD when the cashier (who looked like he downed about 20 cups of coffee before work) told me he liked my shirt, but that wasn't the fun moment.
Turns out the guy's a Republican, and as he put it "you guys should be allowed to dissent, I did during the Clinton years, and it's not right to say that dissent is bad now".
He definately wasn't a Shrub fan, but he's already assumed that the fix is in and he's going to get re elected one way or another in 2004. Of course I had to add "yeah and the fact that his supporters build voting machines will help too" :)
Just another sign that we're gonna win this thing after all.

2. My friend, who is very active in the Democratic Party, keeps telling |

me that we can beat Bush*, that the American people have had it. From what I heard tonight on CNN, about his unfavorable poll numbers, I'm hoping she's right. I couldn't stand four more years of Bush* and the country certainly can't. The list of his misdeeds is endless. He's just got to go, and we have to make it happen. Talk to people who are unaware or uncommitted. I have, already, but am going to make a few calls tomorrow!:-)
