'Gigli' filming caused woman's injury, suit says

The Ben Affleck-Jennifer Lopez curse continues. This time, their Titanic-sized disaster of a romantic comedy, "Gigli," is being sued.

And, no, it's not from people demanding their ticket money back (though some enterprising attorney could make a sweet case for a class-action suit on that score).

Civilian Ethel Higley claims she was minding her own business near the set of the film near Santa Monica, Calif., when she was blinded - no, not by Affleck's frightfully "white-toothed smile - but by sun reflectors set up by filmmakers to create extra light on the set so that paparazzi could get more shots of Bennifer smooching between shots.

According to "Entertainment Tonight," after being "temporarily blinded," Higley fell and sustained injuries that have left her unable to work. No word on how much cash Higley's asking for, and a Revolution Studios rep would not comment to "ET" about the case.
