Poll question: GEN- xers what's your favourite Abba tune?
Alright, like many gen-xers, I was raised on Abba. I remember as a kid driving around with Mom, Abba was always in the tapedeck. So to this day I have a thing for Abba. SO what's your fav....non-exers are welcome to do this too

3. The Winner Takes It All
I know it's not as catchy and fun as their disco stuff, but I've always loved that song!

By the way, if anyone is planning on visiting NYC, I suggest you go see Mamma Mia - it's a musical based on Abba's songs and it's fantastic! The way they built a story around the songs is amazing - you'd swear the story came first and the songs were written for it.

I've seen the show twice and I can honestly say it's the most fun I've ever had at a Broadway musical - and I've seen a lot of them. By the end of the show, people are singing and dancing in the aisles. It's a blast ... and you'll be shocked when you realize how many Abba songs you actually know, LOL!

5. Should be "Money, money, money" where you wrote "In a rich man's world"

Money, money, money
Must be funny
In the rich man's world
Money, money, money
Always sunny
In the rich man's world
Aha-ahaaa
All the things I could do
If I had a little money
It's a rich man's world

6. Thank God I am not a Gen Xer
I went to the discos. I never, even in my most drunken, polyester, OhMyGodIamPrecious Moment thought, "This music is timeless!"

I couldn't even vote in this poll...If I never hear "Dancing Queen" again, it will be way too soon.

Just love that song. I've got their 3-disc greatest hits on WinAmp right now.

Edited to add: I also absolutely can't get enough of "Lay All Your Love On Me."

8. "Knowing Me, Knowing You"
The harmonies have killed me from the first time I heard it (on my Corvair's radio while travelling Route 9 through Natick, Massachusetts, in June or July of 1977).

(I think the point I may have fallen in love with my wife was when I found out that she was also an ABBA fan at a time -- 1983 -- when no one would dare admit it.)
