5. I think probably not.
Oh sure, there's some folk who'd always be inclined toward brash and insulting behaviour with relative strangers. In general though, I suspect if people were standing in the front room of someone with whom they disagree, they'd at least frame their remarks more gently than they do under the veil of anonymity.
