I confess, I am a food JUDGER
Almost all of my judgments about people I'm involved with daily have to do with food:

Extra Large eggs are big enough - people who buy Jumbo Size eggs are BAD PEOPLE.

Everyone has foods they don't care for, but it's not necessary to make a FUSS about it. To REFUSE to eat something with olives or mushrooms or avocado or whatever because you don't care for them is too self indulgent. Especially when you also insist on dining "family style". People who make that much of a fuss are BAD PEOPLE.

People who are habitually take the last serving, the last piece of pizza, the last whatever are BAD PEOPLE (And no, saying "Does anyone mind if I have the last serving" doesn't help if it's what you do at every god damn get together.)

2. my peeve is when someone claims to be allergic when it's a preference.
I know someone who does this and insists that any household where he is present not use the things he dislikes... and his list is very very long...

Off the top of my head, black pepper, mushrooms, bell and hot peppers, beans, lentils, soy, milk, bananas, tomatoes....

And no, it's not an allergy. I've seen him consume all of the above at one time or another, but he insists it's a severe allergy. Obnoxious git.

3. I have a neighbor (and frequent guest) who calls food CONTAMINATED
I have a neighbor (and frequent guest) who calls food CONTAMINATED when it includes something he doesn't care for.

And while he's doing this, at the same table I'm encouraging my kids to try different foods, and to be respectful.

6. you invite this guest or he invites himself?
We had one person like that over once when my step-daughter was in a picky phase. She picked up the habit, and it was weeks before we got her broken of it. Said guest never was invited again.

Sometimes I just want to get on the phone with their mothers and ask, while they're sitting there, "So, was X always a rude, self-centered idiot, or is this a recent development?"

9. It's complicated - he's married to the best friend of a family member
I don't really invite him, but by necessity we end up eating together much more often than I like.

8. Corndogs, chicken nuggets of the cheap variety, canned soup...
Basically, processed bleached enriched flour, high fructose corn syrup, Mystery Meat (TM) products... He cannot be convinced however, that all of his favorite junk foods contain at least one of his supposed allergens.

He's a perfect shit in many ways, and even if he were to read this, would never realize 'twas him I refer to.

7. bad kitties
my cat's always trade places when I put the food bowls down. They've gotta have what the other guy is having, but they still haven't figured out it's the same thing.
