This is Leo, 2004 Guinness World Record Holder for Longest Cat: 48 inches tall from the tip of his nose to the end of his tail and weighs 35 pounds. Maybe it IS some sleight of hand or photography manipulation, but the vet holding Leo is a larger person than the woman holding the other (outstretched instead of scrunched) cat, so ????

18. Orange cats can be just huge..
we once had an orange tabby who weighed 26 pounds. The vet placed his hands around the cat's skull to check his frame size and agreed that although he was quite overweight, he was also just a really large cat!

I have a kitty that's pretty good sized - looks a lot like that one, actually, except he's a different color - weighs 15 pounds. That cat is three or four times his size.
