7. Aka DVR aka Tivo aka Replay

Basically a reciever with a large harddrive and an internet connection. It allows you to get a tv listing and set what shows you would like recorded for later viewing. It lets you get off the silly schedules TV likes to keep you on.

And yes I am a skeptic with an open mind. Its not the claims that I am cynical of. Its the format and the media. You really think a media exec somewhere is going to pony up funding for something they don't already have rigged?
