It is probably ZERO degrees in Denver. I am in a heated apartment a shivering....I'm wearing gloves to type! Supposed to snow again tonight.

1. Find another blanket or coat and sleep in your current attire.
Go to bed.

5. Perfect idea.
I do that with work clothes on winter mornings (those clothes that are machine washable, that is). I put them in the dryer for a few minutes and then get dressed. Positively decadent I tell you.

4. I'm sleeping in sweatpants, sweatshirt and socks...
...under two thick quilts and one polar fleece blanket here in Detroit. I know what you mean. Seriously, I am used to cold weather, but for some reason this year it seems particularly early to be so numbingly cold. So I'm with you. I haven't had to resort to gloves to type yet, though. :-)

6. Change into you PJ's in fast motion.
When I was in the convent, we had to rise at 5am, that is the time they turned the heat on there, I learned to dress very quickly in the cold-- there was ice on the windows that needed to be insulated. At that time I lived in Cincinnati, now living in Arizona I think it is freezing cold when it is 60-67 degrees in the house. It is still warm in my house when it is in the 50's (seldom) outside in the evening so I don't have your problems. When I wake in the morning I put on my slippers and long sleeve shirt which is near my bed then turn on the heat. If it snows tonight, please send us some.

7. You want some snow?
We're being told to brace for 4" - 8" inches by tomorrow morning, another 6" - 8" more throughout the day Thursday. If I can figure out a way to mail it, it is ALL yours. :-)
