After strolling the streets of Manhattan
and we are going to this again next week, I am curious as to where are the characters of "Friends," "Seinfeld" and "Sex and the City" are supposed live. Is it in the Village? Upper East or West side?

I think that in "Friends," when they finally left, two street signs were shown but I don't remember which. Just makes a show more interesting to watch when one has a feeling for the background shots. And when I watch the reruns from earlier seasons, the skyline that includes the Twin Towers still elicits a sigh.

1. Friends is the village
Seinfeld is upper west side. You can go to the restaurant that is shown in the show and they have great food and very inexpensive. Broadway and 112th i think, not far from a subway stop. Not sure about Sex and the City

4. Thanks. Last month our hotel was right next to the soup Nazi store
which was closed and I really cannot imagine standing in line and being humiliated for a cup of soup...

2. Sex and the City was sort of all over the place
Carrie lived Up town, can't remember if it was east or west. Same with Miranda. Charlotte was Upper East Side. Samantha was Meat Packing District, if I'm not mistaken.

5. Thanks. These are really nice walk up building
as opposed to the high rise with many apartments.
