3. And if she picks wrong, they don't tell her who her father is, don't
give her any information about the choices, and they send everyone home broken-hearted.

It's the latest in public torture!

4. What about the idiot contestant?
Fox found someone stupid and low enough to participate in the show. In the ads for the show, she looks like a plastic surgery/collagen junkie.

15. you're right
i'm just constantly amazed...not only at how demented the ideas are becoming, but that they are actually finding people desperate enough to be on TV to do the things...

19. the Daddy thing is dehumanizing and psychologically damaging to kids
but what do you expect when they know that the American public enjoys watching people eat bugs for money? :puke:

7. I'm sure that Fox can go lower . . .
but I'm not entirely certain how. Several adoption groups are already protesting this show and I've sent Fox an e-mail letter stating that as an adoptive parent myself I am disgusted with this concept. I don't expect that it will do any good, but I had to try.

He said they were talking about this and just how sad and pathetic is was.

Dude, when the people who make Paris Effin' Hilton's reality show say your show lacks class... you've got problems.

17. Oh be nice! This is just an edgier version of 'To Tell The Truth'.
The original was mind-numbing, but this new version is devoid of everything, including ethics and morality.

21. Welcome to the Republic of Dumbf*ckistan.
The sad thing is that people will watch this crap -- mostly the same people who lap up the offal spewed from Pox News. Bush voters. If you're dumb enough to vote for a regime that will screw you to the wall while you beg for more, you're dumb enough to watch, and like, garbage like "Who's Your Daddy."

22. I'm adopted, and my jaw dropped when I saw this
this is not something to screw around with. Sick sick sick.

I don't mind "reality" TV - in fact, I kind of enjoy The Amazing Race, but this is wrong on so many levels.
