Boy in a Santa suit asked to quit dance
I feel better knowing there are people who are so stupid they think Santa Claus is a religious figure, and that being that dumb doesn't disqualify you from becoming a school principal.

...Principal Fred Muscara said he told the boy he couldn’t get into the dance because he was wearing the costume.

"It was a holiday party," said Muscara. "It was not a Christmas party. There is a separation of church and state. We have a lot of students that go to Hampton Academy Junior High that have different religions. We have to be sensitive to that."...

3. Why do stupid events at schools make the news?
They're not news.

They just support someone's political agenda.

5. I've got my aluminum pole set up
Mom's coming over for food tomorrow. It will be just the two of us.

She fell and hurt her shin yesterday, so I've got a big advantage in the Feats of Strength. She'll kick my butt on the Airing of Grievances.
