surf. Ever since seeing Endless Summer, I've wanted to learn to surf. Sadly, there are no waves in flyover country.

Don't mind me, I'm going through my annual holiday season I-hate-being-single mood. This, too, shall pass, hopefully by January 2. Then again, I turn forty on January 3, so maybe not, lol!

I've known several people who didn't find "the one" until after 40. I think the trick is to stop looking first.

Titled "Into Thin Air". I've only read online accounts, but the details of Rob Hall's final night are particularly heart-breaking. :-(
