going to visit,having visitors over to the house, or just hanging out?
My partner is Jewish, we spent part of Hannukah with her brother in NY. My family now lives just outside of Minneapolis -- so a phone call tomorrow morning will have to do...
Meanwhile, my partner and I will be exchanging a few gifts, and spend the day being "slugs" -- watching movies, feeding the wood stove, and taking the dogs out to do their business..
maybe next year we'll be going out to MN...but that all depends on finances...

to Grandmother's house we go...
I've always wanted to say that. ...then we get up from the table, the 16 year old goes snowboarding, and we all either fall asleep in the easy chairs or play cards or...
My family is all 2500 miles away, so we don't see them as often as we would like...
