This Christmas morn sucks..... |
|
This morning I went out to the garage to take my dogs to the groomer, and noticed my garage floor was flooded. The water heater is leaking, it is only three years old . So, I called my home warranty to get it fixed, well their referral people do not accept emergency cases, they can't come out until Monday. He said this is Christmas, "yes I know that -that's why I can't wait, I'm having guests during the Christmas holidays and need water. He told me to call at 10:00am, I did, he was busy, left a message and he never returned my call. So, I called again at 10:30, he was available (bet he didn't think I'd call back and I would just wait for a return phone call that would never come) then he said someone would be here before 2:00p but could not make promises they could fix it today after all is is Christmas. What the heck, if this is Christmas where is the spirit? I shut off the hot water heater only to have all the water turned off in my house, so, they expect people to go without not only hot water but no water at all for over 3 days?
I am losing all faith in people, it seems no one cares anymore.

3. If you lived in Michigan I'd send my s/o out to help you |
|
mistermonkey is pretty good at fixing stuff, he installed our new water heater. And he's at home today, probably sitting on his ass while I'm at work. Too bad you're so far away. I hope your problem gets solved!

They have a point too. I wouldn't want to work on the holiday - would you?

6. Yes, but this is what these people are PAID for. |
|
I'm an air traffic controller. I work on holidays because we don't close the national airspace. I'm paid to do that.
I'd rather not work on Christmas, but it's my job.
