My dad is listening to Handel's Messiah REALLY loud and it's driving me crazy. Does that make me a bad liberal elitist?

5. That's true
At least it's not that idiotic "Last Christmas, I gave you my heart, but the very next day, you gave it away" song that plays every time I go to the supermarket.

like any music, constant repetition can get on your nerves. you have my sympathies. at least it's not a constant stream of say, Burl Ives. brr!

here's what i like to do when I am being annoyed by unwanted sound
1) smoke a doob (YMMV)
2) listen to Yes's 'Awaken' (1977) LOUD (usually on headphones)
3) repeat as necessary
