this chapter of Ezekial is not exactly advocating the desires and practices of the two sisters, who represent Jerusalem and Samaria as they fall from Godly grace.

'tis simply yet another Biblical tale of the sins of the flesh overcoming fear of the Lord. There are a lot of them, and even back then they found sexual imagery made the point.

For some inexplicable reason, thoughout history axe murderers and rapists were always bad guys, but "real sin" was personified in whores and sluts.

Lot's daughters had sex with their father when they thought there were no more humans on the earth. Some Jewish teachings count their acts as heroic since they were done to save humanity.

I was wrong, and will admit it. (Contrary to a certain notable politician who couldn't remember any mistakes. But I digress.)

The NIV translation does indeed use the word "genitals", and in modern idiom it would translate: ...her lovers, who were hung like donkeys and came like horses."

However, she is not held up as an honorable woman. She is used as a type for extreme sin and stands for Jerusalem in a fallen condition.
