My dog just ate a tomato from my kitchen counter
that I was saving for a special BLT later. I'm taking back her presents.

2. My dog licked all the frosting
off of my chocolate birthday cake.

Dogs cannot be trusted alone near a food source.

9. No!
It was too soggy, wet and slippery.

Sigh!

3. You can still have a BL, 2/3 of what you intended.
Be comforted by the fact that she enjoyed and appreciated it.

4. With the price of tomatos these days,
that calls for serious punishment!Tell him if he doesnät shape up, youäll send him to the White House to live with Barney.

5. To add insult to injury,
she carried it across a vast expanse of linoleum to the living room carpet (that I had just cleaned) and ate it there. From the looks of things, the tomato did not go down without a fight.

8. Weird dog!
I have a tomato in my hanging basket that's in the early stages of decomposition, but I don't have a weird dog to take it off my hands - just three piggy cats, crunching away on the CRUNCHY MEATY NUGGETS™.

10. Maybe when it gets fuzzy enough from the mold....
....one of them will mistake it for a mouse? Especially if one of the cats is older and a bit nearsighted.
