Poll question: Did You Get What You WANTED For Christmas? |
|
I'm happy I did, but that's because my parents let me order whatever I wanted, so they wouldn't have to guess, heh. :P
I'm sure if I had left the shopping up to the fam, I'd be sitting here with some type of electronic battery-operated motion sensing dart board, aaaaand, a jigsaw puzzle of the boring variety.

5. I really didn't ask for anything. |
|
I keep telling my parents they don't need to spend money on me, however every year they do. I didn't ask for anything this year because I really don't buy into the commercialization of Christmas.
What I did get however was nice and I'll probably use it. If that makes me a hypocrite, oh well. :D
The one thing I did want that I couldn't get was a plane ticket to Tempe, Arizona and tickets to the Fiesta Bowl for I could see the Utes play. But oh well, I'll enjoy watching it on TV.
My parents however are pretty good at picking out gifts. They got me an iPod; a cool bust of Jason (Friday the 13th); a few awesome horror movies, a Michael Myers doll, a couple of Utes shirts; a book on strange things in America; a book from Sports Illustrated; two Ute hats; a Christmas outfit; video games; a Gameboy and The Sims 2.

6. The $60 ham didn't come |
|
Which, believe me, was NOT my idea. Neither was the $30 ham my husband replaced it with yesterday. Other than that, it's been a glorious day so far!

12. If I wanted something for Christmas |
|
I would have bought it myself. Ever since I was on my own I never expected anyone, not even my spouse to get me what I wanted for Christmas.
